Heavenward Summer Day Camp is open to campers entering Kindergarten - 9th grade. Camp teams are organized by grade level. Grades K - 5 each each have their own team, whereas Middle School students are combinded as one. It is common for teams to mingle, mix, and play while engaging in various camp activities. You may recieve information regarding team scheduling and their interactions with fellow teams here. These are sample schedules of what to expect for your camper's grade level. Detailed schedules for specific grade levels K - Middle School will be released by the end of May.

Days: Monday - Friday, Off campus field trips every Wednesday.
Times: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Free extended care available to campers
7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.

Campers will enjoy their favorite activities from previous summers and be introduced to brand new theme-based workshops. All activities ranging from crafts, academic review, Biblical application, and group activities will be based on the weekly theme.

Week 1: June 16 - June 20
Students will be introduced to a variety of sports including basketball, street hockey, soccer, tennis, cheerleading, bowling, and more! Our hope is to introduce campers to an array of sports in order to build teamwork, enhance student confidence, encourage health and exercise, and above all have fun!
Week 2: June 23 - June 27
Students will be encouraged to explore the world around them and take part in new activities! We hope to inspire research, engage in learning, and motivate each student to appreciate the world that God created for us to enjoy.
Week 3: June 30 - July 3 (closed July 4th)
This week will highlight July 4th as we celebrate America’s Independence Day! Campers will have the opportunity to learn more about our government, national pastimes and how this country was shaped by Christian values.
Week 4: July 7 - July 11
Is your student excited about the arts? So are we! This week covers a wonderful sampler of the arts including drama, clay art, dance, writing, drawing, music, and more! Your student will be given the opportunity to try new avenues of artistic expression and participate in what they already love.
Water Heavenward Around the World
Week 5: July 14 - July 18
MCS Summer Day Camp is going to be cooling off from the summer heat during water week! To beat the heat your student will take part in playing in the sprinklers, water balloon toss competitions, water fights, water relays, and other fun activities!
Week 6: July 21 - July 25
Our goal at Milpitas Christian School is to introduce each child to the love of Jesus Christ. It is our desire that this week your child will grow in faith, dive into the word of God, and engage in joyful worship unto our wonderful Creator.
Week 7: July 28 - August 1
This week your student will be introduced to a variety of countries as they travel around the world. Students will explore other countries' food, flags, art, culture, landmarks, and more!

Week 8: August 4 - August 8
At MCS we hope to inspire students of all ages to put their imaginations to use. At every age imaginations have the power to transform, create, and foster new ideas. It is our goal to provide your child with basic foundational tools that enable them to think and dream big!
Week 9: August 11 - August 13
Being our last week of summer day camp we want all campers to enjoy each day as if they were visiting a carnival!
